The Company

The Company is an established IBM Gold business partner and the leading implementor of Maximo in the UK and Ireland. It is the go-to partner for IBM for implementing and reselling Maximo, and has developed a unique product offering for Maximo, with a successful SaaS business and 3rd party solutions to enhance the product. The business has had a significant period of growth and is now recruiting for experienced solution sellers with industry specific experience to continue to support successful revenue growth and client success.

The Role

The requirement is for a Sales Consultant with enterprise sales experience in one or more of  Facilities Management, Transport, Utilities and Pharmaceutical verticals to establish and progress existing pipelines and to win new business. The role involves a mixture of Account Management for existing strategic accounts and new business development. The business has an excellent understanding of the market in terms of Maximo customers and competition and can provide specific targets – it seeks to dominate the competition with a leading market share of the existing Maximo customer base and has an excellent product-set to pitch. The role will also require business development outside of the known customer base, through networking, calling, events, social media marketing and other business-to-business activities. The business often partners with other SI’s and technology companies, and the role may involve co-ordinating joint bids for large projects.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced solution seller with prior knowledge of enterprise selling to customers in FM, Utilities, Transportation and Pharmaceutical sectors. An understanding of the operational and financial issues faced by the sector is essential. They will be able to demonstrate Industry knowledge and networks including successful prior enterprise IT sales experience in the industry to blue chip companies in relevant industries.

Account Management planning and execution experience will be key including managing customer relationships with multiple stakeholders and delivering revenue from existing accounts as will an understanding of software, SaaS and Professional Services pricing and selling.
